ABOUT OUR OFFICE
In the Constable’s Office, our mission is simple; once the court renders a judgment on a case, the constable is responsible for making sure the court’s orders are carried out. Under the order of the First City Court of New Orleans, the Constable’s Office serves pleadings, makes seizures, executes evictions, and conducts sales of property. Unlike other government offices, the Constable’s Office is unique in that we perform our jobs at no cost to the taxpayer.
The Office of the Constable has a proud tradition of service and responsibility that goes far beyond serving papers and making seizures.
